An Anti-Eavesdropping Strategy for Precoding-Aided Spatial Modulation With Rough CSI of Eve

In this paper, an anti-eavesdropping strategy is proposed for secure precoding-aided spatial modulation networks, under the assumption that the rough channel state information of eavesdropper can be obtained at the transmitter. Traditionally, artificial noise (AN) can be always projected into the null-space of the legitimate channel, however it may lead to some security loss since this strategy dispenses with a holistic consideration for secure transmissions. To reduce the computational complexity of our optimization problem, we derive a closed-form expression that is a loose bound of the approximate rate over the illegitimate channel. Then a concave maximization problem is formulated for optimizing the covariance matrix of AN. Simulation results show that our proposed low-complexity scheme performs closely to the method which directly maximizes the approximate secrecy rate expression, and harvests significant secrecy rate gains compared with the traditional null-space projection benchmark

In the title compound, [Cu(SO4)(C15H11N5)(H2O)]·CH3OH·2H2O, the CuII ion is in a distorted square-pyramidal geometry, in which three N atoms from the chelating 1-(1,10-phenanthrolin-2-yl)-1H-pyrazol-3-amine ligand and one O atom from a sulfate anion define the basal plane and the O atom from the coordinating water molecule is located at the apex. In the crystal, hydrogen-bonding interactions involving the coordinating and solvent water molecules, the methanol solvent molecule and the amine group (one with an intramolecular interaction to one of the sulfate O atoms) of the complex are observed. π–π interactions between symmetry-related phenantroline moieties, with a shortest centroid–centroid interaction of 3.573 (2)°, are also present

Improving Vision Transformers by Revisiting High-frequency Components

The transformer models have shown promising effectiveness in dealing with various vision tasks. However, compared with training Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models, training Vision Transformer (ViT) models is more difficult and relies on the large-scale training set. To explain this observation we make a hypothesis that ViT models are less effective in capturing the high-frequency components of images than CNN models, and verify it by a frequency analysis. Inspired by this finding, we first investigate the effects of existing techniques for improving ViT models from a new frequency perspective, and find that the success of some techniques (e.g., RandAugment) can be attributed to the better usage of the high-frequency components. Then, to compensate for this insufficient ability of ViT models, we propose HAT, which directly augments high-frequency components of images via adversarial training. We show that HAT can consistently boost the performance of various ViT models (e.g., +1.2% for ViT-B, +0.5% for Swin-B), and especially enhance the advanced model VOLO-D5 to 87.3% that only uses ImageNet-1K data, and the superiority can also be maintained on out-of-distribution data and transferred to downstream tasks.Comment: 18 pages, 7 figure
